A few more points in the article stated that:
- Kids take 90 seconds longer to run a mile than their counterparts did 30 years ago
- 1 in 3 U.S. kids get recommended 60 minutes of moderately vigorous activity a day
- Today's kids are about 15 percent less fit than their parents were
At MVP, we've created opportunities for not only our Adults, but more importantly our Kids. Kids need to run, jump, climb, sprint, pick up heavy objects. They just need to be active.
It is our job as adults to give our kids the opportunity to be active and healthy.
