Core Training

All Too Ofter people come up with the most ridiculous core and abdominal routines you can imagine.  At MVP Performance Training one of our First Core Values is DO NO HARM.  We must understand biomechanics, individual's limitations and how the body adapts to external stimulus. In my mind, the muscles of the "Core" are designed to prevent Flexion, Extension and Rotation. With this in mind, we program exercises accordingly.  We must first be masters of the basic movements and then progress from there.

The following are some of our Basic Core Exercises.  All clients progress through this phase before we move on.  If someone comes to us post-injury or very deconditioned, we may need to regress to more primitive patterning.

The following are some of our Basic Anti-Rotary Exercises.  All clients progress through this phase before we move on.  If someone comes to us post-injury or very deconditioned, we may need to regress to more primitive patterning.
