MLB Draft

I'm a total baseball guy and yesterday was the first day of the MLB Draft. This year, the Washington Nationals picked Bryce Harper of the College of Southern Nevada with the No. 1 Pick. This kid is only 17 years old. He dropped out of High School so he could get his GED and play against better competition. The 17-year-old hit .442 with 29 home runs and 89 RBIs during the 2010 regular season. And in the National Junior College World Series, Harper hit for the cycle while going 6-for-7. The next day, he went 2-for-5 in the first game of a doubleheader and 6-for-6 with four home runs in the nightcap. Can you say freak of nature???

Even though he has a lot to prove and he gave up so much, he had a plan. Ever since he was 7 years old, He wanted to be the No. 1 pick in the MLB Draft. He also wants to be a Hall of Famer like his idol, Mickey Mantle.

I can't guarentee you'll be a Hall of Famer, but I can gaurentee if you have a plan your dream is possible. Here at MVP Performance Training in McMinnville, OR we design a specific plan (Your Workout) to fit your individual needs and ensure you attain your fitness or performance goal.

See you at MVP,
